Neil Shirley leaves Road Bike Action to join Lyman Agency

Published December 16, 2016

VALENCIA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Neil Shirley has left Road Bike Action, where he was the editor, to join The Lyman Agency, which represents several bike brands and events, including Mavic, Enve and Eroica California.

"I've known Chris Lyman for a few years and always felt he did a great job without being over the top" Shirley said. "I never really saw myself going over to the PR side, but after spending a few months going back and forth with him on future ideas, and considering the current companies and events the agency works with, I realized that it would be a natural fit."

Shirley was with RBA, a Hi Torque publication for six years, including five years as assistant editor and the last year as editor.

"I couldn't be more thankful for my time there and the opportunities I've had along the way. Having a voice in the magazine and sharing my passion for the sport with our readers for so many years gives me a lot of pride. Going forward, I'll still contribute a column and the random adventure story when an opportunity presents," he said.

Shirley is a former pro road racer and continues to participate in (and often win) endurance road and gravel races.
