NOVATO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. has hired industry veterans Nikki Tufte and Michael Larson as sales representatives in two Midwestern territories.

Tufte comes to Marin after a 25-plus year career in the cycling industry, where she has worked both in bicycle retail as well as for Specialized and Save Our Soles in sales and management roles.

"Marin has been one of the leaders in passionate bike design for as long as I can remember," said Tufte. "I am incredibly proud to represent not only their bikes, but also a company who continues to put every ounce of their hearts into everything they do, down to the details. Truly awesome bikes and stoked riders."

Tufte's agency, Every Summit Sales, is based in Kansas City and covers Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The agency also represents Kali Protective Helmets, Point6 Socks, Klean Kanteen, Alite, Grand Trunk, Good To-Go and Sport Hansa.

Larson has been in the cycling industry for over 30 years, also starting in retail and having represented some major bicycle brands as a territory manager.

Tom Jackson, Marin's national sales manager, said "It's fantastic to get reps such as Nikki and Michael into the Marin fold. Their professionalism and industry experience make them a great asset to Marin and our Midwestern partners. I know that they will do a great job helping to build on the momentum that the brand has had for the past few years."

"I recently returned from two days of training with Marin in California and I'm looking forward I'm proud to be representing a brand that has an excellent reputation for building great riding bicycles, with such an outstanding team," Larson said.

Larson's territory with Marin is Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, where he also reps Canari and Shebeest.
