PeopleForBikes launches consumer campaign to inspire people to get out and ride

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — PeopleForBikes today launched its latest consumer campaign, Bike Days of Summer, with the goal of motivating more ridership this summer. The promotion features four different days focused on inspirational reasons to get out and ride.

Fix-a-Flat Day: June 20

Bike to a Ball Game: July 15

Pedal with a Pal: August 13

Get Grimy Day: September 8

Planned promotional activity includes email and social media campaigns to PeopleForBikes' 1.2 million supporters along with other paid media placements and partnerships.

Retailers can also tailor special promotions and events around each themed day to customize the program to their local markets. Fix-A-Flat classes or organized rides rolling from shops to the ballpark are just a few ideas happening across the country this summer.

Along with a social media toolkit to easily share this campaign, there are also downloadable posters available to customize for both retailer and supplier purposes.

The social media tool kit includes artwork and pre-written content ready to copy and paste, as well as downloadable posters.
