This is an unusual post, inasmuch as I’m only writing it because so many editors (you know who you are) have asked me to.  

Back when I was in the consulting business (you know, like last month),  the number one challenge I got from prospective new clients was, “we can’t get the magazines to publish our press releases.”

Well, today I’m going to show you how. For free.

I’ve written dozens if not hundreds of press releases for various bike companies in the past couple decades and not one of them has gone unpublished. Ever. This is less a testament to my great skills as a writer than to the fact that I figured out the three foolproof secrets to getting press releases published:
