Disrupt, Disable, Dissemble, Disempower

Like any broad-based business, process, the evolution of Bike 1.0's presence in the marketplace is an organic—Darwinian, if you will—process where incremental changes that benefit 1.0 interests long-term tend to be preserved, and those that don't, aren't. By mapping existing 1.0 tactics against the eight characteristics of perfect competition, a large scale (and largely subconscious) strategy begins to emerge. And it's not a pretty picture.
