Fifty riders braved the inclement weather for Campy's toy drive and ride this past Saturday in Carlsbad. Some even dressed the part like Campy's Tom Kattus and Zoot's Brandt Furgerson. Even though there weren't as many riders at the starting line because of the wet weather than Campy would have liked, Tom did say that lots of people stopped by to donate toys.

"The ride was actually a lot of fun even though we were drenched—at least it was warm and the wind was light," Tom said.

The event will be back next year, but Campy is considering moving it to an earlier date in hopes of increasing the odds of good weather and a bigger turnout.
