TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Tern is recalling about 1,700 Tern Link folding bikes worldwide because of some frame failures.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Bixbi bikes is launching a new line of 12-inch-wheel balance bikes for summer 2014.

The Route 12 bikes are available in five colors and weigh 7.4 pounds. MSRP is $210.

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — PowerTap is launching three carbon road wheelsets that retail at a lower price than its previous carbon wheels.

All three retail for $2,199.99. PowerTap continues to offer alloy-rimmed wheelsets retailing for $999.99, but the new wheels are its lowest-priced carbon wheels. 

WATERLOO, Wis. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle worked with Penske Racing Shocks and Fox Factory on a new patent-pending suspension feature called RE:aktiv that the company will debut on a new Fuel EX 27.5 mountain bike model.
