AUGUSTA, Kan. (BRAIN) — GearUp, Inc. signed an agreement to distribute a new bike rack system called Figo in the U.S. Peruzzo s.r.l. of Rossano Veneto, Italy, manufactures the rack.
FERNDALE, Wash. (BRAIN) — Kona has recalled its 2014 Wo fat bike due to concerns that the fork can crack or break at the junction of the crown and steerer column. In a notice on its website, Kona said there has been one U.S. report of a steerer tube breaking, with no injury reported.
INDIANAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Silca is now selling a new chain lube, which company president Joshua Poertner says was inspired by a "secret lube" being used by pro race mechanics.
The new lube, called NFS ProBlend, is made by NFS in Maryland for Silca.
OXNARD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Galfer, a supplier to the motorcycle industry and to OEMs in the bike industry, is now making its disc brake pads and rotors available in the U.S. aftermarket. The company offers a wide range of pads to fit most brakes on the market, as well as four sizes of stainless steel brake rotors.

MADISON, Wisc. (BRAIN) — Planet Bike has introduced three new high-output, USB-rechargeable headlights.
The Blaze 650 XLR ($95), Blaze 500 XLR ($75) and the Blaze 180 USB ($45) will be available in the next week. The model names refer to each model's lumen output. Each model also have a Superflash mode.
FOXBORO, Mass. (BRAIN) — The MET Parabellum helmet features the brand's exclusive HES shell construction. The company said the model offers World Cup-level performance, with lightness (284 grams in size Medium), vending and some extra bells and whistles not normally found in this class.
