Published April 10, 2014

MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Salsa Cycles is releasing two new full-suspension fat bike models, the Salsa Bucksaw 1 and Bucksaw 2. The bikes will be available this fall.

The QBP-owned brand said the bikes will offer 100 millimeters of suspension travel front and rear, thanks to a Split Pivot rear system and a RockShox Bluto fork. Both models will have aluminum frames with carbon seatstays.

They have 177 mm symmetrical through-axle rear spacing and accept up to a 3.8-inch tire on a 82 mm-wide rim. The models will retail for $3,999 and $4,999.
