J&B creates separate brand for recumbents: Sun Seeker

Published September 8, 2014

MIAMI (BRAIN) — J&B is splitting off its recumbent brand from its cruisers and adult trikes, creating a new brand, Sun Seeker. The cruisers and trikes will continue to be marketed as Sun Bicycles.

"We're excited to separate the two because it will give us a better opportunity to connect with recumbent enthusiasts across the nation," said Bill Tannen, J&B's vice president and recumbent product developer.

J&B is introducing the Sun Seeker brand at Interbike. The line will include all its previous models and a new tadpole trike, the Eco-Tad, with a suggested retail price of $899.

J&B also will introduce a new "delta trike," the Eco-Delta, retailing for $829.
