Wheat Ridge Cyclery Has New Fitness Center

Published October 23, 2007

WHEAT RIDGE, CO (BRAIN)–Wheat Ridge Cyclery is expanding its reaches into the world of fitness.

The Wheat Ridge Cyclery Fitness Center will feature yoga, spin classes and various other cardio and core related classes.

The classes will be taught by experienced and certified trainers. Colorado native Mary Jo Broer, most recently owner of the Wheat Ridge-based All Out Fitness will be the lead instructor. Broer has more than 20 years of instructing experience at such recognizable facilities as Gold’s Gym, Olympus Fitness Center, The Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, among others.

“I try to be innovative and cutting edge with my teaching style. I like to bring out the best in each and every patron during my classes. I walk them up to the edge and let them decide to jump or just dangle their feet in the idea of going that extra inch or mile," Broer said.

A majority of the spin classes will be headed up by the Cyclery’s own Chris Seaver. Chris has 10 years of spin instruction experience. She was voted one of the best spin instructors in Chicago.

“My style is one of building energy from everyone in the class. I put out energy to the class and the class responds. Back and forth it grows, until we have created a fun, intense, rewarding workout for all involved. Whether you are a first time Spinner or a tested athlete, you will find my classes motivate you to work hard," she said.

Seven time Tour de France competitor, Olympic Medalist and Pro Cycling Hall of Famer Ron Kiefel (pictured) will also be contributing as an instructor once a week in his class Ride with Ron, which will be held on Thursdays from 11:30-12:30pm.

The Wheat Ridge Cyclery Fitness Center’s unique offerings are sure to bring a refreshing alternative to the beginning and advanced fitness enthusiast. Combining traditional fitness concepts with today’s latest philosophies, the Fitness Center will be able to address all it’s customer’s needs.
Classes started yesterday. A Grand Opening Celebration and Open House will be held on Saturday, October 27th during regular business hours.
