PETERBOROUGH, NH (BRAIN) — Outdoor retailer Eastern Mountain Sports will host a grand opening of its new store in Nashua, New Hampshire, from April 12-14. Located at 281 Daniel Webster Highway, the 22,204-square-foot space is more than twice the size of the company’s previous location across the street.

“Nashua has been an important market for Eastern Mountain Sports since we opened our first store here in 1987,” said Mark Walsh, CEO of Eastern Mountain Sports. “This location in Nashua presents an opportunity for EMS to improve our customer experience by offering more products, brands and service in a fresh environment. We appreciate our loyal customers and look forward to seeing them and serving new enthusiasts in this exciting store.”

The new Nashua store will have a new section for kids, an expanded kayak and stand-up paddleboard department, as well as more road, mountain and hybrid bikes to choose from in the full-service bike shop. EMS sells bikes from brands including Jamis, Bianchi, Felt, Kona and Masi.

A portion of the proceeds from the weekend-long grand opening will be donated to The Beaver Brook Association, a Hollis, New Hampshire-based nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and conservation of natural resources.

EMS has 68 retail stores in 12 states.
