Published April 23, 2013

BAIE-D’URFÉ, Québec (BRAIN) — Marking its 25th anniversary, the newly remodeled Giant by Teal Sport store near Montréal celebrated its grand reopening on Saturday, April 20, in conjunction with Giant Bicycle Canada.

“Teal Sport first opened its doors in 1988 at the same location we are at today. During this past winter, we underwent major renovations and we are excited and proud to share the result with our friends and customers,” said shop owner Tim Stocker.

Some of the store’s new features include an espresso bar, a women’s section and a new service area. The renovations have modernized the store, creating an open, inviting space and comfortable shopping venue.

“We are incredibly happy with the results of the renovations. The shop is bright, clean and beautiful. It is absolutely the type of place I would enjoy going bike shopping with my family,” said Paul Nash, deputy general manager of Giant Bicycle Canada. “I congratulate Tim [Stocker] and his crew for doing such a fantastic job. It’s such a fitting way to celebrate 25 years of serving the community.”

The largest bicycle shop on the west island of Montréal, Giant by Teal Sport sells Giant bikes exclusively, in addition to the brand’s parts and accessories.
