In rain and sun, the BRAIN Dealer Tour comes to Colorado's Grand Valley

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (BRAIN) — The BRAIN Dealer Tour is visting stores and suppliers here this week, pedaling between stops in glorious sun and cold rain. So far.

In the first two days of the tour, BRAIN editors, local leaders and sponsors, including Garmin and Felt Bicycle, visited eight stores — six in Grand Junction and two in Fruita.   • The Bike Shop, founded as a hardware store in the Coast to Coast chain in 1954, switched to selling bikes exclusively in 1994. The full-line shop prides itself on providing same-day or next-day service, so it keeps a deep stock of parts and takes advantage of one-day shipping from QBP's and J&B Importers' distribution centers in Denver.
