SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Outdoor Retailer 2010 Summer Market Open Air Demo will take place on Monday August 2, followed by the Summer Market Expo which will run Tuesday through Friday, August 3-6.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—While the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC), producer of ExpoCycle, saw an increase in exhibitor participation there was a drop in attendance for the 2009 show compared to 2008.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—It's a good time to be in the bike industry and the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada's Data Capture program, which tracks bikes sales in Canada, has the numbers to back that up. Canadian suppliers sold nearly 200,000 units to retailers in the first six months of 2009.
