MACON, Ga. (BRAIN) — As of May 1, Thomson Bike Products is requiring retailers to have signed its minimum advertised price and online sales policies before they can order products from the company's distributors.

HOLSTEBRO, Denmark (BRAIN) — Danish bearing maker CeramicSpeed has implemented a minimum advertised price policy and announced a new industry employee purchase program.

The company said the new MAP policy, which went into affect March 1, is intended to protect dealers.

MADISON, WI (BRAIN) — Planet Bike has revised its minimum advertised pricing policy to limit the sale of its accessories on auction sites. The new guidelines also set the minimum advertised price at 5 percent below MSRP. In the past this has ranged between 10 to 20 percent.

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, MA (BRAIN) — Todson Inc. has updated its minimum advertised pricing policy for Topeak products for the 2014 season. The new policy pins the minimum advertised price at MSRP. The previous policy allowed retailers to discount Topeak products by 20 percent off MSRP at any time.
