Rod Judd joins RockyMounts as sales director

Published September 15, 2016

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — RockyMounts has appointed Rod Judd to the newly created position of sales director, effective Sept. 19.

"We couldn't be happier that Rod is joining us," said Bruno Maier, company president. "RockyMounts has been on a growth trajectory for two years, and now it's time to place a strong leader at the head of sales. Rod is going to help build out and manage our sales force."

For the last six years, Judd served as the associate director of development of the International Mountain Bicycling Association, where he managed sales efforts to increase the number of bicycle and outdoor specialty retail partners, and contributed to consistent year-over-year revenue growth for the organization.

Prior to IMBA, he worked in business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales for Catalyst Communications, Inside Communications, and Primedia magazine. His skill set also includes marketing, forecasting, campaign analysis and reporting.

Judd will develop a network of outside sales representatives, manage internal sales staff, and work with the RockyMounts team to launch new products and categories, support the RockyMounts IBD network, and develop new sales opportunities.

RockyMounts has had a prolific year in which it increased revenues and moved to a larger facility to expand the size of its warehouse, R&D and retail spaces. It has launched seven new products since January.
