Amer Cycling Group updates retail and online price policies

Published October 20, 2016

OGDEN, Utah (BRAIN) — The Amer Cycling Group, a division of parent company Amer Sports, has announced changes to advertising, distribution and e-commerce policies for authorized dealers of Enve and Mavic brands.

The updated policies establish promotional and shipping guidelines and prohibit the use of auction or online bidding marketplaces. The changes are meant to ensure the integrity of retail pricing and put brick-and-mortar retailers on equal footing with online retailers, the company said in a press release.

Updates will go into effect Nov. 15 and include a list of performance “MAP Products” and associated pricing guidelines.

“We recognize that dealers are investing resources to create strong customer loyalty, and these guidelines enable us to help our valued partners protect their interests,” said Ronnie Points, Amer Cycling Group director of sales, North America.
