PBMA survey: Bike shop demographics

Published May 15, 2017

AUSTIN, Tex. (BRAIN) — Through its latest survey, the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association hopes to gain insights into shop demographics. The short survey is open to retail shop owners and employees and will run until June 15.

The PBMA’s president James Stanfill, who founded the non-profit organization last year to promote, develop and advocate for professional bike mechanics, hopes to learn more about retail and service staff size and diversity, and get a glimpse of how 2017 is shaping up so far in terms of sales and service at the IBD.
