Trek looking to hire 100 retail employees in Philly

Published June 19, 2017

WATERLOO, Wis. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle said it’s adding 100 new retail jobs to the Philadelphia-area as the company looks to bolster its employee base after its recent acquisition of 12 Bike Line locations. The positions — which include various sales and service roles — are new and will be an addition to the current employee base at Bike Line’s locations.

Trek is hosting “Guaranteed Interview Days” in two Philadelphia-area locations over the course of four days this month to meet with anybody interested in a career within the retail industry.

“Trek is creating the most customer experience-focused bicycle dealerships in the world. Our aim is to staff our stores with associates that believe in customer service as a core value,” said Trek’s VP of Retail Joe Vadeboncoeur. “Whether it’s providing the fastest and most professional service, helping you get exactly what you want, or providing competitive value. We guarantee you will love your purchase or we will make it right. We would love to talk with people who would like to be part of creating that vision.”

Those attending the event are expected to bring a resume. The dates and locations are as follows:

June 26 and 27

Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester

720 Eagleview Boulevard East

Monday, June 26: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
