BIRMINGHAM, England (BRAIN)—Brooks England, the English purveyor of handmade leather saddles and accessories since 1866, is inviting dealers worldwide to submit applications for its Dealers of Excellence 2008 program.
Following submission and review, 50 dealers will be selected worldwide and will be rewarded with a not-for-sale Limited Edition White Swallow. Applications are being accepted now through June 30th.
The Dealers of Excellence program is judged on several criteria. While sales numbers will reflect a dedicated Brooks dealer, more essential to gaining a six rivet rating is a demonstration of unsurpassed brand passion. There are six categories whereby dealers can express that passion. How dealers choose to illustrate such is up to them.
Dealers are invited to register and submit specific information as outlined in the program on the Brooks England Web site at www.Brooksengland.com. Six categories provide an opportunity to receive up to six reward rivets (as found on the rear of Brooks saddles). A minimum of four sections must be filled in order to qualify for a Dealer of Excellence rating or to be considered for the ultimate honor: the Limited Edition White Swallow.
The six information topics include: Saddles, Bags, etc; Brooks Display; Your Customers; Brooks Bicycles; Statement or Story; and Atmosphere, Location and Personality. Dealers can upload up to nine images to express their passion and to help the judges visualize dealer statements.
While there are only 50 White Swallows up for reward, conciliatory symbols of recognition will also be rewarded. Rivet rankings (one through six) will coincide as follows: 1 Rivet for Good dealers; 2 Rivets for Distinguished dealers; 3 Rivets for dealers On the Rivet; 4 Rivets for Excellent dealers; 5 Rivets for Outstanding dealers; and 6 Rivets for Supreme dealers. One through five rivets will receive honorary prizes while the 50 selected Supreme dealers will receive the Limited Edition White Swallows.
Three Dealers of Excellence Award Ceremonies will be held at Eurobike 2008, Interbike Las Vegas 2008 and Cycle Mode Tokyo 2008.
