Published October 13, 2008

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (BRAIN)—Kurt Kinetic has signed a European distribution deal with Accell Group, one of largest bicycle and bicycling accessories companies in the world. The partnership will immediately make Kurt Kinetic’s entire premium cycling trainer line available in 13 European countries.

The deal will create a single unified distribution channel for Kurt Kinetic products through independent bicycle store dealers and retail outlets throughout Western Europe and the United Kingdom including the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Great Britain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Poland.

“Kurt Kinetic manufactures some of the world’s most advanced cycling trainers,” says Jos de Winter, head of aftermarket at Accell. “They’re both a natural fit for the other premium brands within our global and European portfolios and exactly what the European cycling industry is calling for. We expect a great deal of interest from dealers and consumers and are very excited about the relationship.”

“We’ve worked extremely hard at finding the perfect European distribution partner for a number of years,” says Paul Carlsen, division manager of Kinetic Cycling. “When it comes to understanding, representing and selling the world’s best cycling and accessories brands, there really is nobody with the depth of knowledge of the world’s markets or the experience and network of the Accell aftermarket companies. We’re delighted to be a partner and look forward to growing both our business and our relationship across Europe.”

Kinetic is a leading cycling trainer brand in the United States and the Far East. The company manufactures a line of high-quality trainers, all with an unconditional lifetime warranty. The Kinetic Trainers are unique in the marketplace with a totally sealed fluid chamber and patented magnetic coupler ensuring leak proof operation.
