Shimano EU Holding Group Has New President

NUNSPEET, Netherlands (BRAIN)—Shimano has named Marc van Rooij as the new president of Shimano Europe Holding Group, succeeding Sato Yuasa as of December 1.

Rooij is currently managing director of both the Shimano holding company and the Shimano Benelux subsidiary. Erik Naberman will replace van Rooij as managing director of Shimano Benelux, also effective December 1.

Naberman and van Rooij are both “long-term Shimano employees and bicycle industry members, and have an extensive experience in several positions both in and outside the company."
