Born in Whistler, British Columbia, Crankworx is a 10-day multi-disciplinary mountain bike festival celebrating epic endurance, supreme flow, monster air and vertical-drop riding. Over 11 years, the Crankworx dirt stadium has been home to hundreds of game-changing moments in freeride mountain biking’s history, and has launched the careers of countless professional athletes. Nowhere else will you see competitors of this caliber gathered in one place.
The Eurobike Demo expands from a single day before the show to being held throughout all five days of the show. Test ride opportunities will be expanded. Visitors will be able to take test rides on demo tracks at the northeast corner of the fairgrounds and at the new Eurobike demo area for the duration of the show. Exhibitors’ test stations won’t be set up at the Carpark East 1, but rather in the demo area between and behind the B halls. This area will also house e-bike exhibitors, who previously were at the Open-Air Area East, which will now be used as regular exhibition space.
Once a year, Eurobike turns Friedrichshafen into the global hub of the bicycle world. This is the place where innovations are presented, business is done, information is exchanged and contacts are made. For 2016, Eurobike is moving its starting time back by 30 minutes and adding a second consumer day. On the trade days, Wednesday through Friday, the show will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and only be open to trade visitors. On the two consumer days, which Eurobike is calling “Festival Days” and are held the weekend following the trade days, the show will open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 7 is an Industry Only Day, giving manufacturers of recumbent bikes, trikes, tandems and and cycling accessories the opportunity to reach out and connect with bicycle dealers from around the country. Industry attendees can also attend workshops and product demonstrations, test-ride bikes on the Demo Track Arena and enjoy time with other members of the industry.
