Niner adds steel-framed adventure bike to its line

Published March 30, 2015

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (BRAIN) — Niner Bikes has added a steel-framed 700c-wheel bike to its range, called the RLT9 Steel.

The new model is designed for gravel road riding and touring.

The frame is made of Reynolds 853, with a Niner carbon fork. The geometry is described as "All-Day Adventure Tuned." It has an eccentric PF BB30 bottom bracket allowing it to be used as a single speed if desired. It can accommodate a single, double or triple chainring crank and has three bottle cage mounts and rear rack mounts, and is available in two color schemes: Forge Grey and Safety Orange or Dirty White with Red Ringers.

Frame features include rear rack pannier braze-ons for when the adventure lasts longer than a few hours, and three sport-beer compatible water bottle mounts ensuring you have fuel in places that don't.

The RLT9 Steel will be available with five different parts packages, ranging from $2,500 to $6,000 for the complete bike. It will be available next month.
