Cook Brothers Racing releases details about its Ghost Works hubs

ANAHEIM, Calif. (BRAIN) — Cook Brothers Racing announced details about its new Ghost Works BMX hubs, which are offered in three types: Sprag, Ratchet, and Needle.

Each is offered in 36-spoke configurations with the same spoke lengths on both sides to ensure a balanced wheel, and various axle options provide flexibility for different bike setups. According to Cook Brothers, the hubs offer "unparalleled speed, durability, and engagement."

Sprag features

  • Instant engagement with minimal freewheel friction.
  • Available with 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm (⅜-inch) axles.
  • Fits with Onyx splined cogs.
  • 110mm axle width.

Ratchet features

  • 108x8x2x2 equals 3,456 points of engagement.
  • Options for 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm (⅜-inch) axles.
  • Fits with Onyx splined cogs.
  • 110mm axle width.

Needle features

  • Immediate engagement with reduced friction after the break-in period.
  • Available with 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm (⅜-inch) axles.
  • Fits with Onyx splined cogs.
