Published April 15, 2024

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — On the eve of the Sea Otter Classic, Cane Creek Cycling Components teased details about its Invert gravel fork that is expected to be available mid-summer.

It will be offered with 40mm of air-spring travel for the CS model ($1,199.99) and 30mm travel for the SL model ($1,099.99). The CS features a “Climb Switch” to activate a firm mode along with the extra 10mm of travel. The SL is the lighter model, weighing 990 grams, compared with 1,113 grams for the CS.

Both have a carbon fiber crown and steerer bonded to aluminum upper tubes and one piece forged and machined 30mm stanchions. They can fit tires up to 700c x 50mm.

According to Cane Creek, “No fork made for drop bars has been able to combine the smooth ride, lightweight, simplicity, and good looks into one complete package. This is not a mountain bike fork. Invert is everything you need, and nothing you don’t.”

Cane Creek will be at Booth Y53 at the Sea Otter Classic Thursday through Sunday.
