Giant Sales Director Kevin Cox Departs

NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)—Giant Bicycle has announced the departure of Kevin Cox.
Cox had been the company’s director of sales and retail development since December 2006. “We are restructuring our sales division,” said Elysa Walk, general manager of Giant. “This is a strategic move to refocus our efforts on what’s best for our business and best for our retailers.”
“A change like this is never easy,” Walk said. "But this is in alignment with what our goal has always been—to be the number one choice for our retailers.”
In announcing the change in a company-wide e-mail, Walk informed employees that the sales reorganization will intensify Giant’s focus on its GRP (Giant Retail Partner) program and help the company continue to succeed at retail.
