MARINA, CA (BRAIN)—Andy Hampsten’s Sidis tell a story. As do Sidi shoes from great champions like Francesco Moser and Bernard Hinault to today’s stars like Alberto Contador and Julien Absalon.
“For years, amazing stories have been an integral part of the Sidi culture,” said Sidi America president Al Budris. “Now we’re inviting USA cyclists to share their own Sidi stories for a chance at free Sidi shoes and even a complete Look carbon bike.”
Fifty pair of top-of-the-line Sidi shoes are on offer to the 50 consumers with the most interesting 350-word Sidi stories. The top 10 of these will be entered into a run-off contest (judged by Sidi America.com visitors) for the grand prize: a Look 556 carbon frame decked out in SRAM Rival components (and Look pedals, of course), plus a Sidi Team Apparel Kit including hat, jersey, shorts and socks.
All prizes will be delivered through local Sidi retailers.

Tell Us Yours, Sidi America’s contest is already pulling consumers to its Web site—and onto Sidi retailers’ showroom floors. In addition to the contest, SidiAmerica.com offers info on models and sizing, plus an interactive FAQ, Ask The Sidi Pros section, athlete features, and product manager Sara Ecclesine’s globe-trotting Twitter stream to engage cyclists in a multi-way conversation with and about the Sidi brand.
