Published January 29, 2008

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (BRAIN)—Entering 2007, Sweetskinz was optimistic about the potential for Sweetskinz tires throughout Europe.

By year’s end the company had dramatically increased the number of distributors and now Sweetskinz tires are available in 25 European countries.

“Over the past year we have experienced tremendous growth in Europe and we plan to build on the momentum in 2008,” said Andrew Boyland, chief executive officer of Sweetskinz. “We have already begun work on new designs as well as additional sizes and are exploring ways to increase our distribution channels to help meet continually growing demand.”

Since the beginning of 2007, Sweetskinz has partnered with 12 new distributors including: Chillstyle, Contal, Cool Imports, F-7, Kassimatis Cycling, Kensson Ltd., LiiX, Lom Trading, Racing Components, Red Pepper + Sprankel, Urban Trading and Velocipede.

“Europe’s response to Sweetskinz tires has been nothing short of extraordinary,” said Christian Svarre Jensen, European sales manager for Sweetskinz. “We have also seen a great deal of interest from bicycle manufacturers throughout Europe. 2008 is shaping up to be an exciting year.”

Sweetskinz is the creator of the first bicycle tire that features full-color graphics and patterns that are reflective.
