LAKE FOREST, CA (BRAIN)—GT Bicycles just launched a microsite dedicated to GT's BMX Race presence at the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing.

The "Path to Beijing" themed microsite offers a wealth of information and resources on subjects ranging from the history of BMX Race, to the Olympic qualification process, and provides information on GT BMX Race team members Jill Kintner, Mike Day and Joey Bradford.

The microsite also showcases vintage footage, BMX phraseology, bike specifications and explanations about Olympic rules. The site will be continually updated with GT Olympic BMX Race team news and results starting with the Olympic qualification to the gold medal race. The site also features a dedicated press room to assist journalists covering the Games.

"GT has been a leader in BMX since the early days of the sport and this microsite is an effective and convenient way to align our brand with BMX racing for its historic debut in the Beijing Games," said Sarah Ostermeier, GT Bicycles sports marketing manager. "The 'Path to Beijing' microsite is a one stop destination for anyone interested in BMX racing, the most exciting new addition to the upcoming Olympics."

"Path to Beijing" is currently live and available to consumers, fans and media alike. Click on link to check it out.
