Published October 9, 2008

SANTA CRUZ, CA (BRAIN)—Easton Bell Sports has hired industry veteran Chris Tutton as director of OE sales for Easton Cycling and Powersports. Tutton will focus on driving the Easton brand to the OE customer for both cycling and motorcycle products.

Tutton brings 15 years of experience from Race Face, most recently serving as vice president of sales.

“Chris is an excellent addition to the team,” said Tom Larter, vice president of Easton Cycling and Powersports. “His extensive experience and expertise with driving OEM business and his familiarity with cycling industry as a whole will drive Easton to the next level.”

Tutton speaks highly of his past experience at Race Face but looks forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead at Easton Bell Sports.

“After 15 year it was a hard decision to make the change, but I worked with John Vanderburg when he was running Bell Sports Canada and have always wanted an opportunity to build upon that,” Tutton said. “That, combined with Easton’s long history of innovation, engineering excellence and world class product, made the opportunity too good to pass up.”

Tutton grew up on the North Shore and Whistler areas of Canada, and recently moved back after a two-year stint in Europe. He will continue to work out of a home office.
