Haro Partners Up with Surfrider Foundation

Published December 15, 2008

VISTA, CA (BRAIN)—In the spirit of doing its part to take care of the world around them and where Haro's bikes are ridden, the company has partnered up with the Surfrider Foundation.

A portion of each Haro Railer and Zimzala beach cruiser sale will go back to Surfrider to assist with its ongoing efforts in protecting the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.

“We’re thrilled to be involved with an organization like the Surfrider Foundation that’s doing so much good around the world,” said Jill Hamilton, Haro’s MTB/Asphalt bike brand manager. “We support non-profit organizations dedicated to trail preservation, so supporting an organization dedicated to the preservation of our beaches and oceans was a no-brainer for us."

“Haro is a legendary name that goes beyond the biking community,” said Surfrider Foundation’s director of marketing & communications Matt McClain. “We’re excited to have them on board as a partner.”

In effort to share Surfrider's mission with the masses, the foundation's hang tags have been placed on all Haro Zimzala and Railer beach cruiser models.
