Pacific Brands to Distribute Norco

PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Norco and Pacific Brands have reached an exclusive distribution agreement for the Australia and New Zealand markets starting with the 2010 season.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pacific Brands will assume the distribution of Norco Performance bikes and Norco's Proprietary brands including Axiom, Adams, Mace, Bike Guard, Stealth and BLT.

Jim Harman, chief executive officer of Norco said, "The new alignment with Pacific Brands was a difficult decision, but one we felt necessary to allow us to position our total proprietary offering into Australia. On behalf of Norco Products, I would like to thank the management and staff of Sportz Australasia for their tremendous support, as they have played an important role over the last 10 years."

The Norco distribution plan will remain as is with Sportz Australasia for the remainder of the 2009 season. Additional information on the timing of the change in distribution will be communicated in the following weeks.

Skip Swain Norco's vice president of sales said, "The team at Norco is excited to partner with Pacific Brands to distribute our complete bike and P & A brand offering for both the Australia and New Zealand markets. We will work very closely with Pacific Brands to ensure a seamless supply of product and the highest level of customer service."
