IDSTEIN, Germany (BRAIN)—Markus Storck is planning a tour of Southern California the week after Interbike in order to get one-on-one time with dealers and their employees.
Storck is the founder of Storck Bicycle, a brand that it is known for producing light and stiff bikes. According to Tour Magazine in Europe, Storck has four out of the Top 5 stiffest and lightest bikes in the world.
While being a prominent brand in Europe, Storck Bicycle is less known in the United States. Storck intends to change that by hitting the road and knocking on doors. “The United States has been a fast growing market for us, and we intend to grow even more in the months and years ahead,” Storck said.
“A large percentage of Storck’s Web traffic originates from Southern California. We will use the trip to see shops and find two or three exceptional dealers to serve this key market. Our practice is to give dealers as much exclusive territory as possible. High margins plus a large reach creates success for everyone," Storck added.
