Reynolds Continuing Spin It Up for 2011

Published March 22, 2011

WEST JORDAN, UT (BRAIN)—After a successful launch in 2010, Reynolds Cycling has just rolled out its 2011 version of the Spin It Up Demo Wheel program.

The Spin It Up Demo Wheel program allows Reynolds Cycling to offer customers the opportunity to test a set of Reynolds wheels by riding them in a real world situation like a crit race or a Gran Fondo ride, according to a press release.

“In 2010, we saw that our dealers had a major success with our Spin it up Demo Wheel program," said Dean Gestal, Reynolds Cycling CEO. “Spin It Up offers a unique opportunity for our dealers to offer the end consumer the chance to test our carbon wheels in a real world situation."

Andrew Gavin, Reynolds Cycling’s national sales manager, said, “For 2011 the Reynolds Spin It Up Demo Wheel program works like this: each participating Dealer must take three sets of wheels (one of each profile) to qualify for the program discounts and at the conclusion of the Spin It Up Demo, all wheels will come with a transferable two-year RAP protection plan.

“Our dealers can rent or demo wheels for six months, then sell the wheels and include the remaining 18 months of our RAP warranty (full crash replacement protection) with the sale of the rental/Demo wheels," he added. "RAP warranty can be transferred from dealer to a customer after October 1st, 2011. Dealers will also receive in store Spin it Up POP and will be listed on our specific Spin it up Demo/Rental Dealer page on the Reynolds Cycling website. Our dealers loved this program last year and we are confident it will be successful again in 2011.”
