Scott Oliver departs Easton-Bell Sports

Published September 10, 2012

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—Scott Oliver, former director of North American sales for bike at Easton-Bell Sports, is no longer with the company. His last day was Friday.

Easton-Bell Sports has tapped Billy Treacy, director of North American sales for Giro's snow products, to lead the company’s U.S. sales force on an interim basis across its action sports brands with the exception of its Bell power sports business.

“We will be investing in our sales force by hiring for several key positions in the coming months,” the company said in a statement.

Oliver joined the company in June 2011 following the departure of Pat Hus, who had served as director of sales for the specialty channel for a year at Easton-Bell before joining Interbike as managing director.

Oliver was responsible for leading the U.S. and Canadian sales teams for Easton-Bell’s bike brands, which include Giro, Blackburn, Easton and Bell. He previously worked for Easton-Bell Sports as director of U.S. sales from 2004 to 2006. He also held various positions in sales and management at Burton Snowboards and Oakley.
