Verde to represent Lapierre Bicycles

Published June 10, 2013

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Lapierre Bicycles has hired Verde PR & Consulting to represent it for public relations and related support, the companies announced Monday.

Lapierre is part of Accell Group, the Dutch-owned company that also owns Raleigh America, Raleigh Canada, Seattle Bike Supply and Currie Technologies. While Lapierre has been distributed in the U.S. by SBS for several years, Accell's North American managers announced this spring that they have big ambitions for the brand here, and have set up Lapierre North America as a separate division.

“Since the inception of Lapierre North America, Verde has been in lock-step with our team, which is indicative of how the agency embraces partnership,” said Kirk Bausch, director of sales and marketing at Lapierre NA. “Verde is a great support to Lapierre NA with guidance and expertise on strategy, positioning, retail support and consumer engagement. This partnership is a key element in generating awareness, while maintaining our brand integrity, as we focus our growth in the North American market.”

Verde, celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, has offices in Jackson, Wyoming, and Durango and Boulder, Colorado. Its 37 clients include Backcountry.com, Bikes Belong, Raleigh, Diamondback, Tailwind Nutrition, Tern Bicycles and BioLogic.
