BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Hugh Walton has launched a custom cycling apparel company called Walton Custom Inc. that leverages his 30 years of apparel experience. Walton is a former executive with Pearl Izumi, Descente, Veltec and Hind.

Walton is partnering with the sportswear manufacturer CCN Sport, which has its production base in Shenzhen, China. The brand is offering teams, clubs, events and bike shops distinctive cycling apparel with no minimums, a three-week turnaround time and a complete range of products. Walton said believes the new company has enough advantages to effectively compete in what has become an extremely competitive market.

Walton said, "I ride my bike a lot and personally test all of my gear. My sense is that many customers will be happy to buy from the guy who brought them decades of Pearl Izumi and Descente. And I am proud to announce that Walton Custom will be supporting the National Stroke Association by contributing 3 percent of all revenue to the NSA."

Walton Custom will offer three product ranges of custom cycling apparel: Club, Club Elite and Full-Gas. More information at Waltoncustom.com.
