PHILADELPHIA (BRAIN) — Advanced Sports Enterprises is consolidating some back end functions at its two e-commerce brands, Nashbar and Performance. The two brands are moving toward operating on the same inventory system and consolidated warehousing.

SEATTLE (BRAIN) — REI is all in on its used gear website, which it launched last year as trial, or beta, program. The co-op launched an updated website in March and announced Wednesday that the program is officially out of beta. CHICAGO (BRAIN) — The Chicagoland Area Bicycle Dealers Association is increasing its support of the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association. The dealers association, which plans two trade shows next year, is providing six scholarships for bike mechanics to attend upcoming workshops conducted by the PBMA.

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (BRAIN) — BikeExchange, which claims to be the world's largest online marketplace for bike products, will launch this month in Canada, its 10th global market. 

BikeExchange, which opened U.S. operations in 2015, offers retailers custom e-commerce shops and an advertising channel.
