Steamboat Springs, Colo. (May 28th, 2019) - Moots is pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Walker as the company's new Director of Sales. Walker brings a host of cycling knowledge and industry connections with him to the premium, titanium bicycle manufacturer. As an iconic brand that has endured the many changes since its founding in 1981, Moots values Aaron's ingrained bike knowledge that pre-dates the ubiquity of carbon frames.

Aaron's history in the bike industry dates back to his years spent working for USA Cycling as a National Team mechanic starting in the late 1990s. His excellent technical skills and outgoing personality subsequently spring boarded him into a successful career at Mavic where he started in the service course and worked his way up to Commercial Manager during his seventeen years with the French brand.

"Aaron's super strong and will be a great leader for our sales team," said Moots President Drew Medlock. "He's spent time in the trenches as a sales rep and his historic product knowledge is really going to help in communicating the Moots brand promise of excellent craftsmanship and service to our family of dealers and customers around the world."

"Moots is truly an iconic American bicycle brand that crafts the finest titanium frames and components in the world," added Aaron. "I feel lucky to be presented with this rare opportunity, and I'm thrilled to be joining the team."

"We've achieved steady growth over the last few years driven in large part by our success in the gravel bike category, and adding Aaron to the team is an investment in further developing our standing with our domestic and global partners," added Medlock. "We are simultaneously putting lots of energy into our marketing presentation and footprint to ensure that our presence both online and in person matches the quality of our products. We believe we make some of the best bikes on the planet here in Steamboat Springs, and we look forward to telling our story and providing even better support to our dealers and customers."
