Moots donates proceeds from annual Ranch Rally gravel ride

Steamboat Springs, Colo. (June 20th, 2019) - Moots recently hosted its sixth annual Ranch Rally gravel ride along the Yampa Valley back roads of Routt County, Colorado. Followers of the brand will no doubt recognize the Routt name that the premium titanium bicycle manufacturer has bestowed upon its lineup of gravel bikes: Routt RSL, Routt 45, and Routt YBB.

The Ranch Rally is a non-competitive, fundraising ride that aims to foster a sense of community between the local ranchers who live along the area's many gravel roads and the increasing numbers of cyclists who are gravitating toward them for their rolling terrain and stunning scenery. Moots sells entries to the Ranch Rally which includes the supported ride, a catered lunch at a local ranch on course, and a post-event social with food, beverages, and raffle.

As in years past, Moots donated proceeds from the event to the local Community Agriculture Alliance, an organization that aims to preserve the agricultural heritage of the Yampa Valley by initiating, supporting and encouraging activities and policies that mutually benefit and connect local agricultural producers and consumers. This year Moots was proud to present the CAA with a check for $5000 to support the CAA's continuing mission and as a show of appreciation for the ranch community with whom local cyclists share these beautiful roads.

Moots Marketing Manager Jon Cariveau said, "We started the Ranch Rally six years ago with seventy-nine riders, and this year we filled the event with two hundred riders. We're truly honored to partner with the Community Agriculture Alliance and hope that we can all be stewards of these local roads and resources that we all cherish."

In addition to supporting advocacy organizations like the Community Agriculture Alliance, Moots also strives to operate its business responsibly. This includes recycling 100% of its part-offs and material waste, as well as all paper, plastics and cardboard. In recognition of its responsible business practices, the City of Steamboat Springs has awarded Moots with the Gold Certificate for Corporate Stewardship.
