Costa Mesa, CA— Highway Two, leading North America distribution company, joint venture between Continental Tires and Selle Royal Group (fi'zi:k, Brooks, Selle Royal, Crankbrothers), is developing new business solutions to aid retailers in the fight against COVID-19.

Highway Two President, Ryan Borders, announced the introduction of consumer direct fulfillment on behalf of North American retailers.

"We immediately had concerns that small business would be hit the hardest as COVID-19 takes its toll on the economy.” Said Ryan Borders, President of Highway Two. “We are quickly adapting by adding services and implementing changes in Highway Two’s policies to better support our independent bicycle dealers during this volatile period."

Recently, Highway Two polled their dealer base with results identifying a strong need for consumer direct fulfillment as in-store foot traffic decreases and city ordinances are put into action asking people to shelter-in-place. E-retail will be the primary source of commerce for many.

Along with providing the logistical service, Highway Two will also be providing free freight to the Continental U.S.

Highway Two added that this service will be provided as a short-term solution to the Coronavirus Pandemic.  Long term implementation has not been discussed at this time.
