Melbourne-Based Design Company Looks to Strengthen Pricing Policy

Melbourne, Australia (Aug 31st)—Today, Knog, the design company that creates innovative products inspiring people to explore the great outdoors, announced a new partnership with US-based retail analytics leader, PriceSpider, to support their growing business. The company plans to use PriceSpider's minimum advertised price policy (MAP) solution, Prowl, which provides near real-time analytics into pricing inconsistencies and unauthorized sellers across online channels.

"In re-evaluating our investment in the US market, supporting independent bicycle retailers will be our top priority moving forward," said Colin Brown, Knog's International Accounts Manager. "Working with PriceSpider will allow us to support these retailers while providing a simple solution to selling our products."

Based in California, PriceSpider works with over 1,700 brands worldwide, including many of the world's top consumer brands. In addition to MAP technology, PriceSpider also provides brands with sales enablement technology, helping them to see exactly how and where their products are sold by offering real time data and actionable insights to help them sell more online. Combining decades of data on consumer shopping behaviors with its proprietary data collection platform, PriceSpider arms brands with intelligence from thousands of ecommerce sites and marketplaces to help them drive sales conversions and protect brand integrity at every possible digital touch point.

"We work with a diverse range of brands ranging from multinational food and beverage companies to more niche product manufacturers and we're excited to help Knog with their efforts here in the US," said Anthony Ferry, Co-Founder and CEO of PriceSpider.

Working closely with their distribution partner, Highway Two, Knog will implement its new MAP policy on October 1, and retailers can find a copy of their policy at the bottom of this article, as well as on their website. Additionally, Highway Two will notify all of their dealers of the MAP update.
