Mondraker and Commencal among manufacturers set to benefit from Öhlins' market-leading suspension technology as the brand expands its roster of OEM partners and releases new OEM-only RXF38 m.1 fork

Upplands Väsby, Sweden: Already synonymous with suspension around the globe across various disciplines of motorsport, Öhlins continues to rapidly expand its reach in the mountain biking scene. Today's latest announcement sees the performance suspension brand partner with four major mountain bike manufacturers for MY2021 – Mondraker, Commencal, Thok and Intense – providing forks and shocks for their premium e-MTB, enduro and downhill models.

Öhlins' latest expansion also coincides with the addition of a new OEM-only single-crown fork model to the brand's range – the RXF38 m.1. Developed specifically for the OEM market, the RXF38 m.1 was designed with long-travel gravity bikes and hard-hitting e-MTBs in-mind. The new fork offers a lighter, shorter and more compact design than its dual-crown DH38 cousin, with up to 180mm of travel available. Boasting 15 clicks of adjustment for low-speed compression and rebound damping, 3 clicks for high-speed compression and a climb-mode setting, its retuned twin-piston, three-chamber air spring system allows for detailed tuning across all 180mm of travel. The new fork will feature alongside numerous other race-proven Öhlins models on OEM bikes for MY2021.

Mondraker
Global mountain bike brand Mondraker will be among the first to run the new RXF38 m.1, with the long-travel fork proving an ideal choice for their Level RR and super-enduro Crafty Carbon XR e-MTBs. The two models will spec both the TTX22M and TTXAir at the rear respectively. Mondraker's Foxy Carbon XR 29 and Foxy Carbon RR 29 will also run the RXF36 m.2, paired with the robust and high-performance TTXAir rear shock. The Superfoxy Carbon R and RR will also feature the Öhlins TTXAir shock.

Commencal
Premium MTB brand Commencal have also chosen to spec Öhlins for MY2021. The 2021 META AM 29 Öhlins ED will benefit from a TTX22M coil rear shock and RXF36 m.2 fork, combining to offer exceptional ride performance. The DH38 m.1 fork meanwhile, designed for downhill riding, will feature on the new SUPREME DH 29 / 27 Öhlins ED. The TTX22M, a popular choice for OEMs, will provide the bike's 27.5" rear wheel with ample traction.

Thok & Intense

Thok, manufacturer of distinctive electric mountain bikes, is the very first brand to launch a bike with the new RXF38 m.1. The Öhlins-specced Thok TK01 LTD is a supremely capable e-MTB, made for technical and demanding riding, complete with the TTXAir rear shock.

Californian brand Intense have also chosen Öhlins for their latest e-MTB model – the Tazer MX. Intense have opted for Öhlins' dual-crown DH38 m.1 forks at the front, with the TTX22M keeping the bike planted at the rear.

Manufacturers working direct with Öhlins' distribution network

Öhlins' service and distribution network also works in partnership with several premium manufacturers on a global scale, producing exclusive, limited-run product series. Current partners that are equipping their high-performance mountain bikes with Öhlins suspension include: Hope Technology, Stanton, Starling, Canfield, Greyp, Privateer and Antidote.

Öhlins' knowledge and experience in product development will really spice up our bikes' performance. This is why we are very excited to reveal that the 2021 Level RR, Foxy Carbon XR 29, Foxy Carbon RR 29, Crafty Carbon XR models will all run Öhlin's new suspension system this year."
