Boulder, Colorado, September 9, 2020 – Stages Cycling, LLC is proud to present SPARK, a StagesStudio event, powered by StagesCloud, that grants participants around the globe a month of prescribed workouts, community, and virtual camaraderie. The participation cost of $25 mobilizes an individual who depends on a working bicycle for work, school, access to healthcare and access to commerce through our charity partner, World Bicycle Relief.

Beginning on October 1, 2020, Stages is offering 30 days of 24/7 daily workouts of varying lengths and modalities ranging from yoga to strength, indoor cycling to HIIT, and others, taught by industry-leading instructors around the world.

“Stages Cycling knows power, Stages knows bikes, and now, through our partnership with World Bicycle Relief, the power of bicycles takes on an entirely new meaning! We’re so excited to showcase some of the best presenters in the world, and change lives in the process. We hope you, your friends, colleagues, members – anyone, really! – join us virtually all month for some fun and a little – or a lot! – of exercise!” says, Cameron Chinatti, Stages’ Director of Education and lead on the SPARK project.

Eric Jaworsky, Stages’ Senior VP of Sales and Marketing said, “Through these challenging times, it’s more important than ever for our communities to remain active in fitness. Virtual platforms and intentional partnerships with organizations like World Bicycle Relief enable us to reach underserved communities and create innovative strategies that keep people fully engaged in their health and well-being. Through strong branding, creativity, and desire, any studio or fitness facility can create lasting experiences that make their existing communities even stronger.”

Stages Cycling is the world’s largest power meter manufacturer and maker of world-class indoor cycling bikes, accessories, technology, and education. Based in Portland, Oregon with a production facility in Boulder, Colorado, Stages has been in business for 10 years, supporting the world’s most prestigious indoor cycling programs and the best athletes and teams around the globe.

Proceeds from the SPARK event benefit the World Bicycle Relief organization, a team of inspired individuals who envision a world where distance is no longer a barrier to education, healthcare and

economic opportunity. In developing countries, millions of people walk miles each day just to survive. For many, distance is a barrier to attending school, receiving healthcare and delivering goods to market. World Bicycle Relief hopes to change this.

The organization currently distributes custom, locally-assembled bicycles designed by Stages' partner, GIANT, to people in developing countries across the world. Additionally, they support local bike shops in these countries and help train industry professionals on the bikes' mechanisms and maintenance — ensuring long-term success for these shops and communities.

The SPARK event will be hosted on Stages' streaming app. You can learn more about the event, sign up to participate, or donate via https://www.stagesindoorcycling.com/spark. Registration ends 9/25.
