Introducing the Ride More Miles Club

EUGENE, OR (Jan. 26, 2021) — Burley and PeopleForBikes are teaming up to challenge everyone to ride their bikes more in 2021 with the Ride More Miles Club.

The Ride More Miles Club is free to join and offers a great incentive to get out and ride more with friends and family this year. Individuals can choose from a goal of 500, 750 or 1,000 miles for the year and easily track their miles through PeopleForBikes' Ride Spot app.

Along the way, there will be chances to win fun prizes, support your local community and share great rides with other bicyclists across the U.S. At the end of the year, Burley will send out a prize to everyone who achieved their mileage goal. There is no skill level required — just a desire to get out on two wheels and have a lot of fun along the way.

"2020 saw significant increases in bike ridership. We wanted to find a way to support those who recently found biking, help create a welcoming community that would encourage them to continue riding and even challenge them to ride more along the way," said Burley's Marketing Manager Kim Marek. "The Ride More Miles Club is a great way for people across the country to come together and encourage each other to keep pedaling. Life can get hectic, and as the world hopefully begins to open back up, we don't want people to forget the joy they found on their bike."

The Ride More Miles Club is not just for individuals, but also for companies and teams looking for a great way to stay connected during this time of virtual and remote work. Burley and PeopleForBikes invite everyone to join the club.

"Partnering with Burley to launch the Ride More Miles Club was a perfect fit with our mission of getting more people riding bikes more often. Thanks to our Ride Spot app, we are able to offer a great platform for people to easily track their miles, share their rides and stay motivated throughout the year," said PeopleForBikes VP of Marketing and Communications Jose Maldonado. "We couldn't be more excited to work with Burley on this year-long project and look forward to helping everyone ride more in 2021."
