Celebrating and Raising Awareness for Women in Cycling and all Sports

FONTANIVA, ITALY,  — Elite Cycling announces their WOMEN ON WHEELS, BKOOL challenge. Designed to celebrate, connect, and support women cyclists, the virtual competition was intentionally launched on International Women's Day and will continue throughout Women's History Month, coming to a close on April 11th.

"The goal is to celebrate all women in sports and raise awareness on how important it is to challenge the status quo and the huge representation of women in cycling and within all sports," said Elite spokesperson, Marta Segato. "Everyone can take part but only one cyclist will be drawn at random among those women who finished all five stages, to win a complete Elite pain cave."

The grand prize winner will win receive:

  • a Suito-T home trainer
  • and Elite Training Mat
  • a Zugaman sweat towel

Each stage will also have a lucky winner drawn at random for an outdoor combo, akin to their style of cycling: road, MTB or gravel:

  • 2 bottle cages - Cannibal XC
  • 2 JET 550ml bottles made in biodegradable plastic

Among the other participants in the event that put prizes up for grabs, some of which are specific for women cyclists, there's KASK, KOO, Selle Italia, Gobik, RFEC and many more.
