CHAPTER2 Bikes from New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd McCallum to the role of Country Manager, Canada. Todd McCallum's Consulting company will act as C2's independent sales agency covering all provinces across Canada, along with support from Ben Lyon, Sales Manager who will be responsible for the province of Ontario.

Regarding this new initiative with Todd, Mike Pryde had this to say. "Our business in Canada has been growing organically and the retailers we have been working with to date not only see the exceptional quality of the products but also how the unique frameset only business model adds value to their business and their customers".

Furthermore, Mike mentioned that Todd brings both business and cycling experience knowledge that will be important for our growth in Canada, we believe we have a unique opportunity to grow in the Canadian market".

Todd has been involved in the cycling industry for many years, as a rider, also founder of one of Canada's most successful Pro cycling teams (H&R Block Professional Team) and recently has co-founded a new not for profit charity called

My First Bicycle that provides bicycles to youth in financially disadvantaged households across Canada. With the addition of Todd, we believe we can increase brand awareness and growth in the Canadian market. C2 will be strategically focusing on high-end boutique stores that cater to building bespoke bikes for their customers.

About joining the C2 Team, Todd said that "I have admired the brand and the C2 story for a few years. I believe there is an opportunity to tell Mike's story in Canada and our goal to get more riders on Chapter 2 bikes, both road and gravel. Mike and I have had an opportunity to work together on a collaboration project so I understand his vision and approach in developing unique and amazing frames that have strong potential in Canada. I look forward to working with Mike and the rest of his team globally".

About C2

In 2015 both Neil and Mike left Neil Pryde Limited when Neil sold his stake in the company and together they created Chapter 2 bikes from Auckland, New Zealand. C2 has been offering their high-performance carbon fiber Road and Gravel framesets to select dealers in North America since 2017 and in 2019 added Brett Lindstrom as US Brand Manager to provide additional support to their expansion plans in the US.

Their Gravel frame the AO ("Earth" in Maori) has been selling extremely well around the world, especially in North America and Japan. They recently added the TOA ("Winning" in Maori), a racing frame with fully integrated cabling which was completely sold out at its initial launch in September 2021.

North America is currently one of C2's fastest growing markets and C2 are actively seeking high quality professional dealers and industry professionals to support their on-going expansion plans.
