Quality Bicycle Products announced today that Jamie Marchbank is their new VP of Proprietary Product. Marchbank brings more than 10 years' experience in global product design and development and joins Q from VF Outdoor. He will lead the vision and purpose of product development for Q and its proprietary brands, including Salsa Cycles, Surly Bikes, All-City, 45NRTH, Teravail, Whiskey Parts Co., and more.

"I have had a lifelong passion for cycling starting with working in shops as a mechanic when I was a kid. I am enamored to be able to bridge this personal passion with my professional career," said Marchbank. He brings a decade of experience leading global product design and development teams across a broad range of product along with best practices for design strategy and the product development process. Most recently, as VP of Product Creation, Marchbank led product for the JanSport brand, where he guided the development of great products and migration of its product line to use recycled and more environmentally sustainable materials.

"Jamie comes to Q with years of global product design and development experience in travel and adventure categories," said Q President Rich Tauer. "In his new role, Jamie leads an outstanding team of experienced professionals who create compelling bikes, parts, accessories, and soft goods. We are eager to see his contributions to the development of cutting-edge product as the Q Product Team aims to exceed retailer and customer expectations."
